Mike Honcho is heading to the show.

Former Tennessee Vols outfielder Jordan Beck has been called up to the Colorado Rockies on Monday, per Ben McKee of GoVols247.

Beck, who starred for Tennessee from 2019 to 2022, started off the season with the Rockies Triple-A affiliate Albuquerque Isotopes, where he's started off the year with a bang.  He's posted a .307 average and .999 OPS mark with 5 home runs and 28 RBIs.

After being drafted with the 38th pick of the 2022 MLB Draft by the Rockies, Beck started off with the Arizona Complex League (rookie level) his first year before finishing at single-A Fresno.  In his second season in 2023, he leapt to AA Hartford after slugging 20 home runs for A+ Spoke in 76 games.

Beck had a very strong spring training as well with the Rockies this year.  He slugged his way to a .370 average and earned the team's Abby Greer Award given to the team's spring training MVP.

Now, he'll be joining the Rockies starting with their series against the Marlins in Miami on Tuesday.  The Rockies are at the bottom of the NL West at 6-23, but that will hardly matter to Beck and Tennessee fans eager to watch one of their own begin what they hope is a long and successful career as a big leaguer.
